Hitman 2: Silent Assassin PC Cheats

Cheat Codes:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "hitman2.ini" file in the game folder. Add the line "EnableCheats 1" (case-sensitive) to the bottom of the file. Type one of the following case-sensitive codes during game play to activate the corresponding cheat function. Note: Do not type the codes too quickly or they will not be recognized.

Alternately, press ~ during game play, then press [Tab] to scroll through the commands. Many core game commands that are useless to the player will appear, but other commands such as God mode and invisibility are included.

Silenced ballers gun:
Successfully complete a level with a "Silent Assassin" rank.

Sawed-off shotgun:
Successfully complete a level with a "Silent Assassin" rank twice.

Successfully complete five levels with a "Silent Assassin" rank to get the M4. Alternately, complete the Shogun Showdown level with a "Silent Assassin" rank.

Successfully complete the St. Petersburg Stakeout, Tubeway Torpedo, and Invitation to a Party levels with a "Silent Assassin" rank all in one session.

More ammunition:
If you are near a stack of ammunition but are notified by the game that you cannot pick it up, use the following trick to get almost twice as much normal ammunition. For example, if you have a shotgun with full ammunition and are next to a pile of shotgun ammunition, fire one shot, reload, then pick up the ammunition. You will now have almost double the ammunition.

Getting the M4 (M16):
On the motorcade level, you need to clear the town quickly and grab the supplied rifle. Shoot your target. This will cause the UN guards to stop and run on foot to your position. Wait until they get through the gates, then dodge their shots and put them in the cross fire from the remaining troops outside. Since you cannot hurt them, do not shoot. They will soon shoot their own men. Then, just run up and grab an M4. This may not be easy, but it does work.

To get the M4 easier, just use the fiber wire on the UN guards.

Getting the .22SD pistol:
The .22SD is well hidden in the castle level where you have to kill Hayamoto senior. It is one of the items that is displayed in his museum.

The .22SD does not trigger metal detectors. It is useful in the Basement Killing level.

Holstered Uzi:
When holding the Uzi, take out the Ballers. The Uzi will be fully holstered, like a pistol.

Gun collection:

Throughout all the levels you will run into many different types of guns. Whenever you see a gun that you do not already have, pick it up. After you complete the level on which you found the gun, the gun will now be available at your house. You will have ammunition in the room for you to use if desired. However, there are many guns that are too big to carry inside your clothes and therefore must be held in the open. You will not be able to pick up a gun of the same size or greater without dropping the one you are holding. You will find other guns on the same level that you cannot pick up because you are already holding one, and the gun you want is simply too big to conceal. In this case, you will have to decide which gun you want more then finish the level with it. You can always replay that level to get the other gun that was left behind.

Pick locks quicker:
Pick a lock, look at your map, and exit. The lock will be picked.

Walk faster:
While walking, rapidly tap [Run]. If done correctly, you will be still in a walking position, but doing quick dashes and the guards will not notice.

Fast kills:
When playing in any level, just run or sneak up to an enemy and fight him with your fists. He will soon be out cold. Once he is, use any gun to shoot him anywhere on his body. He will not get back up.

Faster actions:
While using the fibre wire, using anesthetic, or changing clothes, press [Map] twice to complete the action instantly.

Hold two pistols at once:
Take out the pistol that you want in your right hand and drop it. Next, take out your Ballers and also drop them. Then, take out the pistol you want in your left hand. Pick up your Ballers and your gun should switch hands. Finally, pick up the last gun and you should be holding two pistols. The sawn-off shotgun can also be used for this.

Running knife attack:
Change to first person view and use the knife. You can attack while running if you press [Attack] many times.

When at your home area with the shed of guns, you may shoot down the birds either on the ground or while they fly in the air. Each bird that is shot will fall to its corresponding area and remain there until you leave the level. You can also shoot the pigs in their pen.

Using the Methoxyfluorane (Anesthetic):
Equip the Anesthetic and go to your target person. Hold [Fire] as long as desired. While using it, you will automatically use two bottles, or if held longer, you can use three to five bottles. Each bottle will result in one minute of unconsciousness. Be careful or he will tell the guards about you. You can also take their clothes, but if they wake up without them they will tell the guards.

Silent Assassin ranks:
You can still get a "Silent Assassin" rank on a mission if you are spotted. To get a "Silent Assassin" rank, there has to be nothing in the aggression bar. You can make sure of this by only using chloroform on guards and eliminating the target with just one shot.

Homing bullets:
Press [F2] and equip any gun. Aim it at an enemy, slightly far from them. It will turn red. Shoot and the bullet will follow the enemy, but only if the aim is red. Note: This is useful for locating enemies behind walls.

First person mode:
Press [F1] and you will be in first person mode. This is quite dangerous to your missions because enemies will think you are pointing a gun at them and shoot you, which will alarm any nearby guards. Note: When you get the pizza in the Basement Killing level, switch to first person mode and look at the pizza.

Stretched arms:
Enable the IOINGUN code and pin a person to the wall. Try to drag them and their arms will stretch like elastic.

On any level, enable the IONIGUN code. Kill someone and drag them by their arms or legs. Pull them as far as you can, then release. They will automatically let go like a slingshot.

Enable the IOINGUN code and make a man stick to a wall at a reachable height. Walk over to him, press [Drag], then walk backwards. The person will be stretched out.

No reload:
This is fairly awkward to do, but can be very useful. You will need Ballers and two other pistols (for example, the revolver and Deagle). First, drop the Ballers and Deagle, and equip the revolver. Move so that the Ballers and Deagle are on the right hand side of the player on the floor. Pick the Ballers up. This will put the revolver into your left hand and the Ballers into your inventory. Next, pick up the Deagle (making sure it is still on your right side before you do). Your player should now have the revolver in his left hand and the Deagle in his right. You can now fire the Deagle continuously without having to reload.

47 drives with a weapon:
In the level where you have to kill the Don, do all necessary objectives. Then, when you go to escape in the car, select a weapon and start shooting it. While shooting, press [Action], to open the door. 47 will drive with the weapon in his hands. Note: This was done in the demo version of the game.

Invitation To A Party: Reload a rifle like a pistol:
Grab a rifle, holster it, then grab the suitcase. Fire at an enemy or at anything else. Reload, and the rifle will reload like a pistol, which is much longer if you have an SP12 Shotgun as a rifle. However, it will sound like you are reloading it as a rifle.

NOTE 1: Enabling this code during a mission will give you 40 street cred points, which is a good way to counteract the drop in reputation that happens when other cheat codes are used.
NOTE 2: If this code is enabled after running, you might have a heart attack and get wasted. However, having maximum muscle and maximum fat is useful for car missions. It is not too good if you are going for a run because C.J. will run slowly, but he will not have a heart attack.
NOTE 3: If you have dated Barbara and Katie, then disable the "Unlimited ammunition" code.
NOTE 4: If you have started off with the "Tier 1 weapon" code, you cannot simply switch to Tiers 2 or 3 by entering the codes. Instead, you must use up all ammunition, buy new weapons at Ammunation, or better yet, get wasted or busted.

If you go to a safe house and save the game, all areas will be unlocked from now on. However, in order not to be wanted when you go back into these areas, you must enable the "Wanted level never increases" code again, but you will be free to roam around.

Revealing territories:

To easily reveal large amounts of new territories in San Fierro, Las Venturas, and some in Las Santos, get a plane and fly all the way to either the southeast, southwest, northeast, or northwest of the map where the ocean is found. Keep flying for thirty minutes in that direction, then jump out of the plane. Do not open the parachute and intentionally drown. When you arrive at the hospital, check your map. Wanted levels:
Reach the following wanted levels to have the corresponding law enforcement officers, weapons, and vehicles chase you:

One star - Police officers on foot, in cars, and bikes will chase you. They have 9mms and nightsticks. If you do not have a gun out, they will try to beat you with their nightsticks. If you have a gun out, they will shoot.

Two stars - Police officers in cars and bikes will chase you. They will have 9mms and nightsticks, although they will not use their nightsticks. They will shoot at you whether or not you have a gun equipped. If you are in a car, cops will drive faster.

Three stars - Police officers in cars will chase you. Police choppers will shoot you. Police cars will go fast enough to be able to keep up with you and roadblocks will be in placed.

Four stars - Cops in cars and SWAT officers will chase you in SWAT vans. SWAT officers will now rappel from the police choppers. SWAT officers are now in roadblocks and SWAT officers will have Micro SMGs. If you are in an aircraft, a Hydra will go after you to shoot you down.

Five stars - FBI agents will go after you with FBI Ranchers. The police chopper still goes after you, and the FBI will replace the SWAT men in roadblocks. FBI agents carry SMGs.

Six stars - Military soldiers will go after you in Rhinos (tanks) and Barracks trucks. They will replace the FBI in roadblocks. The army will carry M4s.

Ride your bike faster:
Tap W.

Run faster:
Tap [Space].

Flying Jetmax II:
Get the Jetmax II at the sand and push it back to the water. Run into some pedestrians and one may get get stuck inside the Jetmax II. Get into water and hit the gas. (Screenshot)

Stand on Hydra's wing:
When your flying in the Hydra with the bubbleman code, apply the thrusters forward and use [Down] to aim the Hydra up. Then, monitor it for a while so it does not over or under balance, and it remains pointing up by itself. After that, leave the Hydra, but do not touch anything. You should be standing on the wing of a Hydra that should still be flying up, faster because of the thrusters. You can jump off at anytime to continue the rest of the code.

Ride a bike without pedaling:
Get on a bicycle and enable the rocketman code to spawn a Jet Pack. When you press W you will move forward without pedaling.

Secret interiors:
Go to the Ganton gym in Los Santos and kill all four people. Enable the rocketman code to spawn a Jetpack. Go to the entrance and fly up until you exit out the top. Then, fly to the east two blocks. You will see a yellow marker. Land around the marker and take off the Jetpack. Walk into the marker and you will be in a secret room. It resembles a hotel or strip club). Then enable the rocketman code again and use the Jetpack to fly up and look around. Next to that room, you will see another. Fly to it and look for the entrance. Fly to it and you can fly around the level.

Use the following steps to make the above-mentioned glitch easier. To enter this level, land with the jet pack still active and attached to Carl. Walk toward the hallway. The tiger's tail is pointing the way. Upon falling, apply small upward thrust, turn facing the hallway, and move forward. If done correctly you should eventually land on the floor. The objects are solid except for two of them. There is also a table that defies gravity. The doors are functional. You cannot leave the area unless Carl is killed by grenade, fire, the goodbyecruelworld code, etc. If you walk out of the brothel hallway without the jet pack you will re-enter the same floor repeatedly. Also, standing on the top use the proffesionalskit code to acquire the sniper rifle. Aim and zoom to max using [Page Up] and sweep while standing at the end of each corner to find more than three floors.

Invincible car:
Use the following trick to make your car invincible, so that it will not show body damage or explode. Enable the jcnruad code while CJ is on foot. Then, enter a vehicle and enter the cheat code again to disable it. Your vehicle is now invincible. After you get out of the vehicle, it may or may not stay invincible. Occasionally the car will become vulnerable again for no apparent reason, but most of the time it stays invulnerable.

Flying car:
Enable the bubblecars code. Get a PCR 600 and drive directly into another car. You should fly off your bike directly on top of the other car and it will fly away with C.J. still on it.

Mismatched license plates:
When you are near your house in Grove Street in Los Santos, walk down to Ryder's house. Look closely at the license plates of his cars. The front one should read "SHERM", but the back one is something else.

Croupier mission: Invisible tow ropes:
When doing the Croupier mission, pull up to the red marker in a Tanker with the trailer. Your trailer will turn into the nearest car as if you were towing it with invisible towing ropes.

Early access to other areas:
Go to the train station and wait for a train to arrive. Once a train is there, run in front of it and press [Enter] to drive it. Hold W during the trip. When you reach a border it will be blocked off. Just keep going faster and faster. The train will go through the no crossing signs and you will be in the next area without doing the required missions. Because you will have a wanted level, enable the aezakmi code to get rid of it.

Pedestrian gang characteristics:
Enable the sjmahpe or zsoxfsq code to recruit pedestrians into your personal gang. If you choose a cop as the first person in the gang, he and all other members will automatically attack criminals (especially when you have them in your car). If you choose a criminal as the first person, they will attack cops. If you then recruit a police officer, he will then attack other cops but will do less damage. Note: If you enabled the sjmahpe code, then activating any other cheat code may disable the cheat until you restart a saved game.

Adrenaline effect:
Enable the anoseonglass and enter it again to undo the cheat. It may still be slow. Use the camera to take a photo or enter a building to speed up the game back to normal time.

Modify vehicle characteristics:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "handling.cfg" file in the "\rockstar games\gta san andreas\data" directory. You will find a list of all the vehicles and a description of each multiplier factor. You can modify the acceleration, top speed, mass, monetary value, transmission, gravity center, and much more.

Modify gang reactions:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "ped.dat" file in the "\rockstar games\gta san andreas\data" directory. You will find a list of the different types of characters in the game. Change the way the other gangs react to your gang. Your gang is "GANG2". Beside "Respect" under each gang, enter the gang you want them to respect or hate. To find a list of what gang numbers represent each gang refer to the "pedgrp.dat" file in the same folder. Save your changes and start the game.

Uncontrollable HVP1000 Rumbler:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "handling.cfg" file in the "\rockstar games\gta san andreas\data" directory. You will see a list of vehicles with their details. Search for a bike called the HVP1000 and change its mass to 17999. Save your changes and start the game.

555 We Tip mission: Grand Theft Auto: Vice City reference:
While going to the destination marker, you will see police cars chase a car and a man firing at them. If you look closely, you can see it is Tommy Vercetti from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Be careful -- the police will sometimes crash into you, giving you one star on your wanted meter.

8-Track mission:

Enable the "Slow motion" code and you will be able to easily take first place. This is helpful if you are trying to get the Monster Truck.

Air Raid mission:
Enable the "Slow motion" code to get a better shot at the RC planes.

Enable the "Destroy all cars" code repeatedly to pass the mission.

Amphibious Assault mission:
If you do not have the required level of lung capacity (which is about 50% and higher) and try to start the mission, an intermission sequence will show Woozie and CJ playing a video game. Woozie will ask CJ if he can swim well, to which CJ replies negatively. The intermission sequence will then end, leaving the player with the message telling him to get more practice underwater. Note: If you want to increase the percentage of your lung capacity, go to any beach or marina, enable the "Speed Up Time" and "Maximum Lung Capacity" codes, then dive underwater for a quick practice.

Are You Going to San Fierro mission:
Instead of burning the weed with the flamethrower, take out a lock on rocket launcher and shoot the crops. It will destroy them much easier.

Are You Going to San Fierro mission: Radio comment:
After completing the mission, tune into K-DST to hear Killer Tommy say "Great to hear that weed farm going up in smoke. I just wish I could have been there with a good pair of lungs".

Badlands mission:
Get to the mountain top and blow up the snitch's car. He will jump off the side of the mountain, committing suicide. Enable the "Spawn Jetpack" code and go down there. Take a picture of him. Take the picture back to the drop point. By doing this, you will not have to chase him back down the mountain on the dirtbike.

Enable the "Spawn Jetpack" code. Fly up the mountain, near the top of the cabin. Do not let the guards see you. Choose the silenced pistol. Enter through the back of the cabin and shoot the snitch. Be prepared to fight it out with the FBI if you get caught. You can now snap a photo of the dead snitch without chasing him. It is important to watch the guards' movement before attempting this.

Beat Down On B-Dup:
The objective is to create a gang war on B-Dup's hood. When you arrive at the park, shoot the gang members with hankies tied on their head to trigger the gang war. When it starts, hide with Sweet under the bridge in between the underpass, allowing you to have a secure position. In this position you will only be guarding the front and the back because you are protected by the wall. This technique will keep Sweet beside you, instead of having him running around shooting enemies which then leads to his death. Use a sniper rifle to protect yourself and Sweet. Using a sniper rifle allows you to shoot the incoming enemies from afar. After surviving the third wave, quickly eliminate the enemies outside B-Dup's house before Sweet starts running towards them.

Beat The Cock mission:
Next to Palomino Creek is a beach that is part of Fisher's Lagoon. The one attached to that is part of Palomino Creek (if you are looking on a map it is the second largest of them all, and has a dock). Go to it. On there will be a red circle. Enter it to start the mission. You should have full muscle and stamina because it is a swimming race. If you have good stats, you will complete the mission.

This is a triathlon. Go to Santa Maria beach in Los Santos and wait until the weekend. Then, go to the lighthouse. You will see a little red marker which will start the mission. Note: You must be in very good shape to win. The reward is $10,000.

When the race starts, enable the "Spawn Vortex" code and drive through the markers, but do not run over any of the participants as you will get disqualified. After that you must ride the bicycle. Keep tapping [Accelerate]. Next, you will have to run. Enable the "Spawn Jetpack" code and go through the marker to win $10,000.

Big Smoke mission:
Instead of holding [Accelerate] to pedal your bike to get away from the red Ballas car, tap [Accelerate] rapidly. CJ will stand and pump on the pedals, allowing you to ride faster, and keep up with Sweet on the uphill areas.

Black Project mission:
This mission starts after a number of Torino missions. Truth is upset with you working with Torino. He abandons you on a road. You are getting into Area 69 and must bring back the Black Project. You must go to the control tower and open the blast doors. You have to avoid the searchlights, but not shoot out more than two of them. You have thermal goggles to see the guards. You must get in before 5:30 a.m. You will begin near body armor if you do not have any. There are guards at mid-level on all of the light towers, plus many that are walking around. Try sniping everybody so that you are not spotted. If you do get spotted, you are told to use a vent to get into the building. In any case, there is armor up on the control tower to replenish with, and a red spot to use to open up the blast doors. The blast doors are in the center of the mound. The vent is marked nearby and you can shoot your way in through the grates. There is a health waiting for you inside that room (with the blast doors on the other wall). Go through the hallway and shoot the guards at the other end. There is armor up and to the right in here. There is also a minigun there. This area has bulletproof glass, so you are safe. Go downstairs to the little opening (not the red path to the left). Shoot out more guards in here. At the end of the path is armor. Then, take a right and another right and you can see a radar room. Disable the SAM site. Then, go downstairs and over to the yellow striped area. There is a grate below you. Go to the end where the grate is up and go in for the health and armor that is down there. Move along, as there are more enemies to kill. Then move left - they say that there is a keycard. Get the armor then touch the scientist to get his keycard. Follow him down the path to the left and you will be in a giant cylinder building. Work your way down all of the stairs, shooting as you go. Get the Jetpack and fly out, heading for the triangle. You can fire a weapon while flying, but you really do not have to. Truth takes it from you, takes off, and abandons you there.

Black Project mission: Too fat:
If you are fat and you try to start this mission, the Truth will laugh at you and call you a "fat ass". He will tell you to lose weight before you contact him again. CJ will make a comment about not being that fat and rub his stomach.

Black Project mission: Minigun:
When you begin the mission, open up the blast doors first then make your way in. After you go in, there will be a small office off to your right that contains armor and the minigun. It is recommended that you enable the "Unlimited ammunition" code, as the minigun only has 100 or 200 rounds of ammo. After you complete the mission, go to your nearest waypoint and save the game. The minigun does not have auto-aim and must be manually targeted to hit something, like the AK47 and the M4.

Body Harvest mission:
Take a bike to the farm and ride to the back of the farm using an indirect route, bypassing the survivalists in the fields and tractors. Quickly steal the harvester, then run over the survivalists that are on foot between you and the road back. Try to overturn the pickups that are in your way. If they are still following you on the road, do a drive by when one is next to you to kill the gunman on the truck bed. The Harvester can take quite a bit of damage. Hit the pickup until it catches on fire, then get away.

To get the Harvester back to The Truth without the cult members following you, just hop out of the Harvester and run around the farm blasting them all away until there are no more people. This requires a few minutes, but in the end no one will be following you.

Catalyst mission:
When you reach the train, do not bother getting out of your car. Drive around the pinned down Groves and run into the Vagos. Drive into the train tunnel to turn around if needed. After all the ones on the ground are killed, exit the car and shoot the one on the train. Then, get back into your car and run over the arriving Ballas. If your car begins smoking, park it next to the Ballas car to create an explosion that should kill them all. Then, get on the train as instructed. Quickly toss the ammo crates to Ryder. There is an unlimited number of them onboard so you do not have to waste time getting a perfect target. You may want to change the "Invert Look Controls" setting to make this less confusing. Remember to change the setting back after all the crates are tossed.

Cleaning The Hood mission:
Do not bother using fighting moves on the crack dealer outside. A single shot from your pistol will bring him down. Once inside the crack den, use the pistol again to take down the targets quickly. Note: Shoot the man with the bat first.

Cop Wheels mission:
Any police motorcycles will not work. You must steal the ones that the game marks for you.

Cut Throat Business mission:
If you failed this mission the first time and try it again, you will be prompted to trip skip. This makes you automatically appear near the RS Haul video shoot location, not wasting your time driving there.

Da Nang Thang mission:
When the helicopter gets shot down and you are in the water, do not swim to the ship. Instead, swim to shore, steal a car, and drive to Ammu-Nation to buy weapons and armor. Then, go to the ship. The mission is a lot easier with an AK-47 in your inventory.

Don Peyote mission: Kent Paul vomits:
Note: Turn the subtitles on to make this easier. During your trip to the snake farm, Kent Paul tells you to pull over. If you do, he will get out of the car, vomit on the side of the road, then get back in.

Drive-By mission:
After approaching each group of targets, just continue to drive around the block normally. There is no reason to damage your car trying to reverse or spin back around. The targets do not run far. Simply drive normally around the block until your partners can start shooting them again. With the last group of Balla's, drive your car down the path and through the tunnel to run them over. Turn around and repeat until they are all dead. Note: Since this mission is not timed, you can drive carefully to a Pay N' Spray between drive-bys to get your car's health bar restored. You will eventually have to go to the Pay N' Spray anyway at the end of the mission to lower your wanted level. Note: That visit will be complimentary, but any others will be charged.

Drive Thru mission:
Try to get in front of the Ballas car and trap it into a wall or building. Your partners will shoot it until it catches on fire. Get your car away from it before it explodes.

After getting the background of the mission, drive back to Grove Street and get the bazooka. Aim at the exit for Grove street. When the Ballas car is coming, shoot at it to quickly finish the mission.

End Of The Line mission:
This mission is very long and difficult to complete. However, if you die you will restart from the part of the mission that you died at. This is the last mission in the game. The first part is very easy. Take the SWAT tank from the police and ram it into the villain's lair. Make sure you approach from the south or the Ballas will smash you. Go through all the floors and kill the endless amount of Ballas that get in your way. There are a lot of health and armor inside. It is possible to complete this mission without cheat codes. When you reach the top, you see your nemesis in a short introduction sequence. Simply shoot him. This is the easiest part, as he and his stupid Balla goons are very easy to see, even in the dark. Ignore the message telling you to get the night vision goggles. You can get them if desired, but you will lose health. Next Tenpenny will arrive with lots of cops and set the building on fire. You can get out with a minute or two to spare. Tenpenny then escapes in a fire truck with Sweet on the back. Follow them along for a long time. You will be told when it is time to take action. When the cop stamps on his fingers, drive as close to the fire truck as possible. Ignore catching Sweet when he falls of, because it is very difficult. In the last part of the mission, shoot out of the back of the car while Sweet drives. This lasts for about four minutes until you reach Ganton and the truck falls over.

Enable the "Unlimited health" and "Super punch" codes. When you are running from floor to floor trying to kill Big Smoke you will not die. When you reach him, his armor is high and it will take awhile. Punch him once or twice to defeat him.

To kill Big Smoke easier, use a minigun. This is the fastest and easiest way to kill him without using cheat codes.

Explosive Situation mission:
Go into the quarry and shoot the two workers that are featured the opening sequence at the detonation controls. This will stop the countdown and you can take your time getting the dynamite. Run over the dynamite crates with the giant dump truck to beak them open and get the explosives.

Farewell My Love mission:
As the race begins, instead of going forward, turn around and go straight. You will be jumping off a cliff, but if you can land your car successfully you will be on your way. Keep driving straight into the town. Take a right turn at the first right you see. If you have already done the race you should know where to go. Follow the road and take another right. You will then be driving across a small bridge. Turn left on the small dirt road and park your car at the end of the bridge. Since you are allowed only 25 seconds out of your car, you must do this quickly. Once out of your car, run to the middle of the bridge. Enable the "Spawn Rhino" code, which should block the bridge. Do this as many times as desired, but be aware that the other cars will show up sometime around three minutes. When the cars appear, make sure to have the rocket launcher out before getting in your car. When the cars show up, they will drive into the creek/river. Quickly get out of your car and fire multiple rockets at them. Do this very quickly. You can then complete the race with no competitors.

Before the race starts, enable the "Flying cars" code. Go to the race. Immediately at the start of the race, all cars will floor it and will fly off the cliff. This gives you as much time as needed to complete the race. Make sure you go drive slow so that you also do not fly off. About six minutes are required to complete the race.

Farewell My Love mission: Grand Theft Auto 3 reference:
The man who Catalina is with is the main character from Grand Theft Auto 3. At the end of the mission, she gives a pink slip but it is not to her car She says that she needs her car because they are going to Liberty City.

Fender Ketchup mission:
Find a large empty area and just keep going fast back and forth doing a lot of 180 degree turns to get the scare-o-meter full. Watch out for cops; once they spot you, you will have more then one star and they will try to hit you head on. Remember to make sure that you do not get in a head on collision, or the man on the hood will die.

Do not drive on the freeway, as this will attract the police. Instead, drive to the airport and perform a few insane jumps. This will have him terrified quickly. Also, the airport is not too far from Woozie's casino.

Pull to the side of Woozie's casino and drive back and forth doing 180s until the Scare-O-Meter is full.

High Noon mission:
You must keep ramming him and do the "PIT" maneuver as taught in driving school. His car will come next to you. When it does, shoot him with a drive by. His car will catch on fire and he will get out. He will shoot at you. You must shoot at him first and he will die.

Before you start, get a RPG or a homing rocket launcher. Then, enable the "Cars fly away" code. When you start the mission, get the dune buggy nearby and ram Eddie's car. It will float away slowly, then it will hover. While it is hovering, get out of the dune buggy and shoot him down with the RPG or homing rocket launcher. It will blow up and fall down.

Sometimes when you drive out of the ghost town, at the of the intersection of the dirt road leading out of the ghost town and the road leading to the Sherman Dam, Pulaski will go too fast on the left turn, go wide, and crash into a road sign on the side of the road. Block him and hijack his car. Drive into the water just north of the Sherman Dam. Do not go too fast though, or you will lose Pulaski and fail the mission. Exit the car and just stay in the water. Pulaski will run after you after you steal his car, and end up walking into the water. Pulaski cannot swim, and will drown. You will have killed Pulaski without using cheats or bullets.

Before you start mission, equip a sniper riffle. When the Pulaski runs for the car, aim and zoom in. You will have enough time to flatten the front and the rear tire. Then, hop in the Sand Rail next to the cemetery and follow his car. Watch him; he will be swerving all over the place. This will give you enough time to shoot at the car or pull him out and shoot him.

At the start of the mission, do not get into a vehicle. Instead, lock on and keep shooting at Pulaski when he is getting in his Buffalo car. If done correctly, he should stop in the car and just sit there for a few seconds. Beware, as when he gets out, he will walk forward some steps and immediately shoot at you with his Desert Eagle. Note: Try using a M4 when shooting at Pulaski.

High Stakes, Low Rider mission:
Instead of using the first lowrider that was given you by Cesar, drive any vehicle to Cesar's house. Look across the street from the mission starting circle to find a light colored Voodoo in a driveway. Get in it, and use it to start the mission. This car is considered a low rider, but does not have hydraulics making it less likely that you will accidentally activate them. It also controls better in turns when compared to your original lowrider. Get to the starting position of the race. When the race begins, try to maneuver around the inevitable initial crash of most of the other drivers. Note that the waypoint markers for races now are visible on the horizon, unlike the "bubble" markers of previous Grand Theft Auto games. Also, imbedded in the waypoint marker is an arrow that will indicate the direction that you need to follow for the next marker. It may be easier to slip into second place and watch the first place cars for cues on where to turn. Otherwise, just pay attention to the directions and take your turns carefully when in first place. By the time you reach the final waypoint markers, slip into first place, or use the final straight away to take the lead. Do not slow down at the end, even though the road stops. Hit the finish line at full speed.

When you get in the low rider, enable the "Vehicle of death" code. During the race, tap the rear bumper of each car in front of you. By the end of the race, you will have as much time as needed to finish in first place without any competition.

Enable the "Flying cars" code before you get to the starting grid. When the race begins, the five other low-riders will start to fly around the area. When you reach the third or fourth checkpoint, you will be in first place throughout the race. Do not accelerate fast, because you will also end up flying. Instead, drive at a very slow pace, but fast enough so that you can finish the race before the game freezes.

Use either a Voodoo, Savannah, Blade, or Remington without hydraulics to complete this mission. Mod your car with x10 nitrous. Do not use the nitrous until the final stretch. Just make sure you do not run into any cars and you should complete the mission easily, with no cheats.

High Stakes, Low Rider mission: Bulletproof Savanna:

After completing the mission, Cesar and his Savanna will remain at the finish line, but the doors will be locked. Use another vehicle to push the car to your garage. The doors will now be unlocked and the car remains bulletproof.

Home Invasion mission:
Try to get to the target house with as much time remaining. The required three ammunition boxes can be found in the following locations. In the first room that you enter, look to your right near the cannon next to the front window. Go up the stairs and look on the landing. Go all the way up the stairs and go to the end of the hallway. If desired, you can get three more boxes in the house, but they do not seem to give anything extra.

Ice Cold Killa mission:
Take a gun and shoot out the tires of the pimpmobile. Then, shoot the car until the smoke turns black. Next, get a gun that you can do drive bys with. If you do not have one, go behind the building and by a pole for the bridge to find one. When you get into the club through the windows, meet Jizzy and just run out of the club after him. When you are out there, the pimpmobile should be in the same condition that you left it. It is easier to blow up his car.

Before you go into the club, shoot out the tires of his Pimpmobile. Get in the club, chase him out, and he will get into the car even with blown tires. You just run after him, and pull him out of the car.

Outside the club are two limos along with Jizzy's car. Before entering the club through the skylight, park one limo in front of his car and the other behind his car, blocking it in. It will remain this way when Jizzy exits the club and tries to escape, making it easy to run up and pull him out of the car before he can drive off.

"High center" Jizzy's car on the grassy median along the boardwalk prior to entering the club. He will not be able to drive off it before you reach the car to pull him out.

Before entering the club, blow up Jizzy's car rather than just shooting off the tires or decreasing its health. Then when Jizzy tries to escape, he will be forced to do so in a Pizzaboy scooter. Just knock him off his bike and kill him with an M4 or any other gun.

Instead of trying to get out and get in Jizzy's car, just follow him for awhile. He will get out of the car, and you can shoot him.

Jizzy mission: Destroying the limo:
During the mission you must chase after a limo and destroy via drive by shooting. Use the following trick to complete this mission without having to go through the annoying car chase. When you pull up to the limo at the start of the mission, instead stopping next to it, quickly drive past. Turn left at the first street that you come to then make an immediate right onto the street after that. As soon as you make that right turn, stop your car and get out. Stand in a part of the street where you have a good view of the the limo as it comes down the hill, then make the left turn and wait for it to approach. Take out the rocket launcher. As soon as the limo makes the left turn (or when you have a clear shot, whatever comes first), destroy the limo with a rocket to complete the mission. Note: The heat-seeking rocket launcher is not recommended. Use the regular one and make sure you have at least five rockets. Also, get to know the route of the limo by failing the mission intentionally. The route at the beginning is the same every time.

Just Business mission:
On the first part, let Sweet do all the shooting. When on the motorcycle unleash your guns on the people on motorcycles going for the person driving. If he dies they both do. You can also try to pop their tires. They will spin out. Do not worry about the big truck you see -- it is indestructible. You will see the action play out of you going of the car. You will jump off the big truck from the trailer.

Key To Her Heart mission:
In the Key To Her Heart mission for Woozie in Las Venturas, when you go to the courtier's house and kill the gimp, you can take his purple dildo to use as a melee weapon.

When you get Millie as a girlfriend, instead of dating her, kill her. Wait awhile and Woozie will call. CJ will say that Millie is dead. Woozie will tell you to go to her house and take the pass key.

Madd Dogg's Rhymes mission: Xbox reference:
When stealing the lyrics from Madd Dogg for OG Loc, you must sneak around in the mansion. When passing Madd Dogg playing his video game, look closely to see that it strongly resembles an Xbox system.

Madd Dogg's Rhymes mission: DRIV3R reference:
Just before you sneak past Madd Dogg, he will say "Tanner you suck! damn you, Refractions, how could you mess up so bad?!" This is a reference to DRIV3R, only they changed "Reflections" to "Refractions".

Mike Toreno mission: Easy completion:
After finding Toreno at the airport and destroying the car, go to the airport's entrance. When you drive into the marker, you will not progress further. To go further, get into any other vehicle and drive away without T-Bone and Toreno until you are told that you are leaving the two of them behind. Drive back and let them enter your car. You can now go to the Pleasure Domes.

Misappropriation mission:
Instead of chasing the man in the helicopter, enable the "Spawn Jetpack" code. Fly up behind the man. Make sure he does not see you then open fire from the Jetpack. Swoop in, grab the dossier, then make your escape before the FBI kills you.

Mountain Cloud Boys mission:
This mission seems difficult at first, but if you have the correct weapons it can be easy. First, enable the "Weapons (tier 3)" code to get the rocket launcher. Next, enable the "Vehicle of death" code. When the men come after you, shoot the first two or three with a gun. Get ahead of Woozie and shoot a rocket at the car to blow it up, killing everyone there. As you go further, two motorcycles will pull up. Hit them with the rocket launcher. Be careful; make sure that the bike blows up before getting too close. As you go further into the alley, you can shoot rockets in the directions of enemies with guns and kill them all, but stay ahead of Woozie. When you and Woozie jump in the car (having the "Vehicle of death" code enabled), just hit the two cars head on, but be careful. Your car can be damaged and explode as a result of too many hits.

New Model Army mission:
To keep the tanks from destroying the Bandit vehicle, pick up the barrels and drop them on top of the tanks. They should get destroyed and you can pass the mission.

When you first start the mission, pick up a bomb and blow up the first tank. Do not worry if your Bandit is blocked. Keep it there. Next, get another bomb and blow up the second tank. Do the same thing to the third tank at the beginning of Berkely's Fortress. Now that the tanks are out of the way, get a plank and make a bridge where the land breaks. Fly back to your fortress and get one more plank. Bring it to where the land breaks for the second time and make a bridge. Next, move the barrel out of the Bandit's way and follow it along the trail, picking up any barrels in its way to complete the mission with plenty of time to spare.

N.O.E. mission:
The objective is to fly the plane below the radar and approach the rings to trigger the drop. Fly straight into the objective. Do not worry if you are above the radar. If you could hear the missiles firing, do a 180 maneuver or any maneuver that would make the missile miss. If you are hit by the missiles, immediately activate the "Armor, health, and money" code until the drop is done and until you land back at the airfield. The attacking planes will not attack you as soon as you land the plane. it does not matter if you land the plane on the red mark; just land it anywhere on the runway.

OG Loc mission:
After getting the PCJ and beginning the chase, it is not necessary to shoot at or try to knock Freddy off his bike. You simply need to follow him. If you lose sight of him, just keeping him in the zoomed version of the mini-map is enough to keep the mission going. Try to follow his path, but if he gets out of sight, you can use parallel streets and paths to continue. Pay attention to whether his position is above or below you (a triangle instead of a square) on the mini-map, and choose the appropriate course. At the end, he will stop at a park in Vagos territory. Ride your PCJ up the stairs past the gang to the top of the structure, then mow them down as they clear the top of the steps.

If you failed this mission the first time and try it again, you will be prompted to trip skip. This makes you automatically get OG Loc, and end up at the house where you ring the door bell.

Photo Opportunity mission:
The "Trip Skip" feature is available if you fail this mission after arriving in Angel Pine. This makes you automatically appear about a block away from the red marker, and in front of the stairs leading up to a building you take the photos on.

Pier 69 mission: Defeating Ryder:
Instead of chasing Ryder in the boat, wait until he approaches his boat then enable the "Destroy all cars" code. The mission will be instantly completed.

Instead of chasing and blowing up Ryder in the boats, you can fight him on foot or shoot him. Before Ryder tries to escape by swimming to the boats, blow them up before he reaches them. He will them swim to the nearby island. When you reach the island he will try to fight you.

Reuniting The Families: Billboard message:
Along the highway in Los Santos is an advertisement on a billboard. It has a woman on it with a can of pop on the side of her labeled Sprunk. Under that, it reads "A taste of things to come". At the end of the Reuniting The Families mission, your car will go through that billboard, changing the writing at the bottom to read "A taste of come".

Riot mission:
This mission is quite long and requires a lot of ammunition and body armor. You must take over all of the gang territories in the hood areas. Try driving concentric to the Johnson house going outward in one big circle. Once you have established your territory, the mission is complete and you can celebrate with Big Smoke and continue with the other missions.

Robbing Uncle Sam mission:Before you climb over the gate, get a gun or Uzi and shoot the two soldiers from outside . When you climb over the gate, shoot the guard standing behind two crates . When you enter the warehouse, use the forklift and carry two boxes at a time. Do this by sliding the arms directly into the middle of two boxes. You can now carry both of them at the same time. However, you cannot put two boxes into the truck at the same time . By the time you carry the two boxes behind the truck , one army guard will appear and Ryder will try to kill him. Do not let him kill the guard by himself, as he takes a long time and could lose a lot of health. After you have carried the four boxes to the truck , there will be two boxes outside the warehouse . They can be found at the left hand side of the warehouse, and the other can be found at the place where you killed the third soldier before you entered the warehouse. After when you escape , two army vehicles will start to chase you. If you are lucky, both of them can keep crashing and they will end up exploding.

Before starting the mission, find the TV Studios in the northwest part of Los Santos. At the top of the stairs (in the car park), you will find a sniper rifle. When you start the mission, do not shoot the guard at the gate. Instead, run behind the building that is on your left. Go up the stairs, walk along the pathway, and drop down at the end. Run and climb up the container boxes that are in front of you. You may get shot a few times, but if you are fast, you will survive. Use the sniper rifle to shoot all the guards (do not open the gate yet). After you have opened the warehouse door by shooting the switch on the right and have killed the two guards inside, move the boxes close to the door by using the forklift. Also, move the two boxes outside (which one of the guards was previously using for cover). You can now open the front gate. If you use the sniper rifle, you will not have to keep running around. You should be able to load the boxes quickly while Sweet covers you. Note: Keep an eye on Sweet's health. You may need to stop loading and shoot a few guards if he starts to lose too much health.

After loading the six crates in the truck, before you jump into the van to drive away, run to the stairs where the soldiers were coming from. Take out the rocket launcher. The two Patriots will follow you to the stairs and you can destroy them with the rocket launcher. After taking them out, you will be able to get back safely with out the nuisance of the Patriots chasing after you.

When you pull up to the gate, hop the wall and shoot the guard at the gate. Go and shoot the two other guards by the warehouse, then shoot the keypad next to the door. Kill the men inside the warehouse. Turn back around and another guard will be running towards you. Shoot him, then hop on the forklift and put the crates by the warehouse door where the truck backs up to. Then, get the two crates that are outside and put them by the other ones. Keep one elevated on the forklift. Shoot the keypad on the gate. Get back on the forklift. Put the first crate inside the truck, then get off and kill the soldier attacking Ryder. Then, get another crate and do the same thing. Every time you load one crate, another soldier will appear. Keep getting off the forklift and kill them. This takes some time, but you and Ryder will not get killed. Get back in the truck when Ryder tells you to and leave. The two Patroits that follow you will be easy to get rid of.

Small Town Bank mission: Radio comment:
After completing the mission with Catalina, the radio host at K-ROSE makes a comment, saying that what the "couple" did was "so romantic". The host starts to mention some of her own past robbing banks as well.

Stowaway mission:
Wheelie in a straight line to the right of the plane, getting next to the ramp. When the plane has offloaded the last of its barrels, turn sharply left and go up the ramp. When aboard, it is critical not to use any firearms at all. Even one shot is usually enough to blow you out of the sky. Also, do not plant more than five charges, as they may self-detonate once you pass that amount. Do not detonate the satchel charges until you are standing on the end of the ramp, or you may not get out in time.

Pull to the right of the barrels until you are close enough so that they will stop rolling out of the plane. Take a sharp right turn and board the plane. Once inside, you can only use fighting methods, because guns will set off the plane. Plant two to four charges. You do not need to manually detonate them. Once you jump out, the charges will automatically detonate while you drift to safety.

Supply Line mission:
First, go after the man on the bike to your left when you take off. Next, swing around and take out the man in the van. Then, head west and take out the other van. This is the easy part. Instead of flying across town to kill the motorbike and the last van, land on a building close to where you started and just remain there. You will not lose any fuel after your model airplane has landed. For some reason, the other two couriers will make their way toward you. Sit patiently until you can get behind the bike (it will reach you first), then land again on a nearby building. The last van may end up on the freeway. You will have a clear shot at him by flying only a few blocks, and you will be close to Zero's shop.

Enable the "Fast motion" code repeatedly (about five times) before entering the red marker to start the mission. Your plane will fly faster, but your fuel will deplete the same rate as if you were in normal time.

Wait on Zero's roof until the van passes by, by doing this, you will save fuel.

Sweet's Girl mission:
Make sure you have a fast and reliable car in your garage before staring the mission. Quickly drive to the yellow objective marker. Drive your car on the sidewalk to mow down the Ballas. Keep going into the basketball court at the end of the street to turn around and make another pass. If your car starts smoking, quickly park it next to any survivors and bail. The explosion should kill them. Get behind some cover and shoot anyone remaining.

Tagging Up Turf mission:
To spray over the last tag on the upper part of the building, walk to the nearby small fenced in alley. You will be instructed to hold Square to climb it. Do so, cross to the other higher fence and also climb that. Then, climb the short wall, then climb again to the ledge that you can use to walk to the tag.

Tanker Commander mission:
After hooking up the trailer, jump out of the truck. The gas station attendant and a friend will be in a car nearby. It will repeatedly crash into the stationary truck and trailer and become damage. Stay out of the way and shoot the car when it is in a safe position until it catches on fire. The gas station attendant will bail. Shoot him, then get back in the truck and carefully drive it to the destination marker.

Toreno's Last Flight mission:
When you go to take out Toreno, wait until his helicopter's energy bar appears. Then, enable the "Destroy all cars" code.

Up, Up, And Away mission:
Instead of going directly into the military compound and fighting the soldiers, steal a Leviathan from the Las Venturas airport. Land it outside of Woozie's casino. After the mission briefing, fly above the destination marker. You should see a helipad with a Leviathan in the distance. Try to land near the helipad and watch out for two soldiers armed with rocket launchers. Bail out if needed near the helipad. Kill the armed soldiers, shoot down the other helicopters, then finish the mission. Instead of fighting all the soldiers downstairs, all you had to do is kill two men and destroy two helicopters.

Vertical Bird mission:
Your mission is to board the aircraft carrier by jumping off your boat and swimming inside. If you drive your boat into the back of the loading docks of the aircraft carrier, your cover is blown. Run and gun to the radar room and take out the SAM launcher. Afterwards, run to the back of the carrier, and before you take off with the Hydra, blow up two of the three Hydras. Do not destroy the one on the loading elevator, as this is the one you want. Then, take off and you will only have one other Hydra to shoot down with instead of three. After you have taken out the enemy Hydra, sink the three spy boats by hovering your jet instead of flying.

Wrong Side Of The Tracks mission:

Once at the station, do not get on the dirt bike. Instead, enable the "Spawn Jetpack" code then kill the men on the train with the shotgun. Once you have killed the men on the train, you must go back to Smoke and get on the dirt bike to pass the mission.

Smoke has very bad aim. Try to keep up speed with the train. When Smoke tells too take the hill, do not, as this makes completing the mission almost impossible. Instead, stay with the moving train. Go past the barrier and try to avoid getting hit by the other train. Also, turn off the vibration option on the controller to help keep your hands steady while on the tracks.

When you chase down the gang members on the motorcycle, do not get on the bike. Instead, enable the "Spawn Jetpack" code and shoot them from it

Colosseum Mode:
Complete the game to unlock Colosseum mode.

Easy mode:
On the title screen, hold the back button until you hear a chime to activate easy mode.

Unlockable Babel Mode Levels:
Unlock the following levels in Babel Mode by earning the corresponding number of Gold Prizes from the Golden Playhouse under the Normal or higher difficulty setting:

Altar - One Gold Prize.
Axismundi - Nine Gold Prizes.
Menhir - Three Gold Prizes.
Obelisk - Five Gold Prizes.

Avoiding boss attacks:
Every boss in the game has a special move or two that can become a serious problem. Just before they use these moves (listen for audio cues), press the UNDO button to cancel the attack, or at least, delay it a bit. This makes boss fights much easier.

Unlimited Rapunzel games:
When you first get control of Vincent at the bar, go to your phone and save. Then, head over to Rapunzel and play your 3 credits. The game saves after each level you complete, but it is only saving your progress in the Rapunzel game and not in your main game save. Therefore, simply exit out to the Main Menu without saving after you leave the Rapunzel game and then reload to find yourself back where you left off at the Stray Sheep. You will still have your 3 credits for Rapunzel and be able to start at the next level in the game you last left off at.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series easter eggs:
-In the Stray Sheep, on the counter to the left of where Erica usually stands, you can find a doll of Teddie from Persona 4.
-Near Erica is a Gekkoukan emblem (Persona 3) on the wall.
-Vincent's bookshelf above his bed has a book titled Persona.

Stage skip in New Game +:
Get a Gold on a stage to unlock the option of skipping it on a second playthrough. This allows you to focus on story things and see the multiple endings.

Text replies hint:
Usually there are about three variations in the way Vincent responds to his texts. The difference is most notable in the response's tone. The gamut of Vincent's feelings can go from indifference to abrasive to considerate, all depending on how you want to convey his emotions. To view your answer options, press erase and then press enter. When you are satisfied with the first sentence, you can do the same with the second and the third. This allows you to tailor unique combination of responses that will give you either good or bad adjustments to the morality meter. So, play around with your texting options for a while and figure out how you want to be perceived before you hit the Send button.

Secret photos hints:
-Throughout the game you will receive photos (usually from Catherine). There are certain photos that can only be obtained through specific actions or based on your karma. The earliest instance of this is Day 2 at the "Stray Sheep" when you receive a text from an unknown number(Catherine). Telling her that it's you will give you a picture of her lips.

-Have pink Karma on Day 3 and Catherine will send you a picture of her in a towel.

-On Day 6 or 5, Catherine will send you picture to make you feel better. It will be one of two things: Her in red leather and a whip or her in a nurse outfit. You get this one regardless and can change which one it is by going back to the text and hitting TRIANGLE (picture button)

-On the last night at the stray sheep you will get a text from your wireless provider saying that their was recently a problem with their phone (missing pictures). Attached to that text is a picture of Katherine either of her next to a birthday cake or her in the bathtub. You can see both of these regardless, but if you have Pink karma you will get a bonus picture.

Getting all eight endings hints:
-Karma is affected by the choices you make during the "confession" segments in the game, by replying to text messages on your phone, and even dialogue choices. There are three possible main routes with different variations of good and bad endings for each, which are achieved by being nice to either Catherine (Pink Side) or Katherine (Blue Side), or being mean to both (keeping your Karma meter in the middle).

-The ending variations are actually affected by the Confession questions in the final stage (9th Night).

-The last couple questions and your standing on the Karma meter up to that point determine the ending.

-During the 9th Night, the first question actually doesn't affect your ending, but the following two determine your fourth question and ending. Here's how to get all the different variations:

Reach Racer on "Oni: Sword Base":

Play mission 3 on co-op with two players. There are two secret switches that are marked as "doors" that you can open, both of wich can be found after Rally Point Alpha (where you must destroy the Wraiths). Switch "A" is on the coast of the water southeast of the buildings with a pair of switches that you must activate. The switch on some rocks near the frozen waterfall. The message "Hold X to Open Door" will appear when in the correct location. Note: Reload your weapon before finding it. Switch "B" is past the AA cannon in the next area. Find a pile of rocks with some trees on it that overlooks the walled complex on the ice that is below the area. With both players standing at those locations, press X simultaneously. The message "REACH RACER" will appear. You will then be transported to the Oni: Sword Base with two Gauss Cannon Warthogs. You can race the other player through a course marked by red waypoints. The losing Warthog will explode at the end of the race.

Dr. Halsey's office on "The Package":
With two players on Legendary, skip to Rally Point Bravo and continue until Dr. Halsey announces that her lab is open. Do not enter the lab or use the panel on the door to end the mission. instead, get an unmarked Jet Pack from the wall at the northern side of the lab entrance area and have one player remain in a safe location while the other player fly to the far eastern line of buildings. Run up the ramp, turn left (north), and notice the fenced-off area on the upper level lines the out-of-bounds region to the northeast. Drop off the northeastern corner and carefully move towards the rocky out-of-bounds area below. Do not touch it. Hover above it and search for a panel with a green light which you can access on a girder, then press X to activate it. This opens a door on the north side of Halsey's lab entrance. Some Elites with Energy Swords will appear from there. Fly over them or run a Ghost through them, then enter the open door. When transported to a hallway, follow it to the lab area where you can see hidden features including old Halo artwork and data panels with joke text.

Two players are required to perform this trick. Go into Forge mode and create an Armor Lock armor ability, then drop it on player two. Next, create another Armor Lock ability and press B. Delete all of these from the map. Click it and hover over "Yes". Have player two go into Armor Lock. While he is in Armor Lock, choose "Yes" at the "Delete all of these from map" message. Player two will become invincible and can move around in permanent Armor Lock. You can still use other equipment, such as Evade.

Quickly climb objects:

To quickly climb a surface that is slightly slanted (but not completely vertical or horizontal) use Evade. You can also jump to it from several stories up, thus surviving a fall. For example, on "Forge World" you can jump from the high mountains located to the left of the waterfall to the slightly tilted rocks below. Note: Your speed also affects the likelihood of your death. Hitting these rocks will slow you down, and are tilted so you do not technically "hit" the ground. Use Evade to get to small spaces, and quickly scale objects.

Campaign teammate dies glitch:
On the second mission, after talking to the "rebels", there is a bridge. Run between the rocks and jump off the edge. After a couple attempts, one or more of your teammates should spawn down there. You can headshot them with the pistol to make them back up to their deaths. They will remain dead until you go to the next house.

Activate it and return to Club Errera. When you walk in, the song "Never Surrender" will be playing. To change the music again, return to your Falcon and fly to the roof of Club Errera. Activate the switch located there to hear the song "Siege of Madrigal" at Club Errera. Note: Return to the dance club after it is cleared to see a Brute DJ and bartender, as well as interesting behavior from the Grunts.

Flyable Pelican and Phantom on "New Alexandria":
From the beginning, progress until the part where you have to defend the ONI Tower near the end of the mission. Note: Get a jetpack from Club Errera when you destroy the jammer there, or behind the Jammer in the hospital if needed. Do not die or the jetpack will be lost. After you destroy all the jammers and are told to defend ONI Tower, fly over to Club Errera in a Falcon and follow the procedure in the video.

Programmer's face on Forgeworld:
On Forgeworld and any map, walk to the edge of the hangar and zoom your view into the background with a weapon (where you see Halo orbiting). If you look closely at the base of the ring, you'll see the face of Chris Carney in the clouds of the Halo.

Master Chief in The Pillar of Autumn:
On "The Pillar Of Autumn", set the difficulty to normal and start at Rally Point Bravo. Once you take control over the big laser cannon, fight off all the Phantoms until a cinematic starts showing a Covenant Battle Cruiser exploding and The Pillar of Autumn starting to take off. Once the cinematic begins, hold the Right Analog-stick Right. When the Pelican is coming inside the ship, your camera will automatically move to the right and you will see the Master Chief in Cryo sleep, inside a Cryo Tube wearing his Mark V armor.

7 easter eggs:
-After completing the"The Pillar Of Autumn" mission, wait for the credits to end to notice the loading object turn into a different shape. Most people will not notice it, but it is a "7". This is a reference to Bungie's favorite number.

-The highest existing rank is "Legend" but Bungie added 7 additional ranks, which are Mythic, Noble, Eclipse, Nova, Forerunner, Reclaimer and Inheritor--yet another reference to Bungie's favorite number.

-Play through the "Winter Contingency" mission. When you reach the part where Noble 2 or Kat is trying to shut the door, go inside and go through the hallway until you find the dead person on the floor. Kat will tell you to "Check his dead body", or something similar. Allow the cinematic to play. When Kat kicks the assault rifle over to you and your character picks it up, look on the assault rifle's ammo. It has Bungie's favorite number on it.

"Banshees, Fast And Low" achievement hint:
On the "Exodus" mission , go to the final rally point where Two Falcons land. Quickly dispatch the Marines when they land, then seek cover. The Falcon gunners will try to kill you. Run to a gunner and the message "Hijack enemy vehicle" will appear. Select it to unlock the achievement.

"Firestarter", "Blaze Of Glory", "Heat In The pipe", "Game, Set, Match", and "Crowd Control" achievements hint:
-On Firefight Classic, go to "Game Options" and under "Firefight" settings, go to the "Custom Skull" settings. Select either the red, yellow, or blue skull to edit, then go to "Spartan Traits". Under "Shields And Health", select the "Invulnerable" option. Under "Shield Multiplier", choose "4x Over-shields", enable "Immune To Head-shots" and "Immune To Assassinations". Go back one screen. Under "Weapons And Damage", set the damage modifier to 300%, melee modifier to 300%, and infinite ammo to bottomless clip. Go back two screens. Under the same skull settings, choose Wave Traits". Set the damage modifier to 0%, damage resistance to 10%, vision to near sighted, hearing to deaf, and luck to unlucky. Return to the "Firefight" settings menu and  "Wave Properties", make sure the skull you customized (red, blue or yellow) is enabled in each wave and the bonus wave. Save your game type and change the difficulty to "Legendary". Start the game. You will be pretty much invincible, and you will blast through the Covenant easily. You should unlock all of the achievements in about three hours, depending on your skill.

-Note: To do this much easier, follow everything in the above hint. However, in "Wave Properties" in the "Skulls" menu, enable every skull to every single wave--including the bonus wave. Then, choose "Bonus Wave" and set all the enemies to "Hunters". Set the timer to 2 minutes (because Hunters give the most score for taking them out). On the first page, set the "Wave Limit" and "Time Limit" both to "Unlimited". Set the "Game Difficulty" to "Legendary" and start the game. Once the game starts, take out enemies until you obtain an explosive weapon (concussion rifle recommended). Then, start using that weapon and fight off all waves. Once the bonus round starts, there will be three Hunters spawning each second non-stop until the map cannot spawn any more of them. If one of them gets killed, it will instantly get replaced by another one. Keep rapidly pressing RT to quickly take them out so they can be replaced fast. You can quickly kill more of them and will be rewarded with high points. Repeat the process and you will get about 1 million points in just two sets, which requires about 40 minutes.

Emile's helmet avatar award hint:

Go to "Matchmaking" and select "Community", then "Grifball". It only features gravity hammers and energy swords, allowing the Bulltrue medal to be earned with ease.

Jun's helmet avatar award hint:

To unlock this avatar award, you must kill 100 opponents in a row in either Firefight or Campaign mode, without dying . An easy way to do this is to go to Firefight mode and select "Game Settings". Choose "Spartan Settings" and go to "Shield Damage And Resistance". Set the "Shield Damage Resistance" to "Invulnerable". By doing this, you will never die, no matter what damage taken. Press B and go to the "Weapon" options, then set the "Infinite Ammo" option to "Bottomless Clip". By doing this, reloadable weapons never have to reload and plasma weapons never overheat. Start Firefight mode under any difficulty setting and  kill 100 enemies in a row without dying easily. Once done, you will unlock an Avatar Award which contains JUN's helmet. You can use the helmet by going to "Customize Avatar" and selecting "Avatar Awards". Note: Doing the "invincible trick" on Firefight too much may lead you to lose your actual skill.

Demo version: Leave boundary on "Boneyard":
In Boneyard and on the ship, there is a staircase with two flights that leads from the ground to the ship. This staircase is to your right when you are looking at the Elite spawn on Invasion. Walk onto the upper flight of stairs and look at the fence keeping you from falling off the ship. Jump to the lower part of the fence and turn to the open area, then jump onto the part of the ship that hangs over the edge. You are now out of the level boundary. If there is only one person on the console, look at the indicator of where you are (bulkheads, under the ship, bridge, etc.) to see that it reads 'out of bounds'. This is a great location to pick off the Elites in Invasion with a DMR. Note: You can only walk so far over before you fall off the ship and die.

Demo version: Plasma turret air drop on "Boneyard":
In Forge on "Boneyard", get into a tank and look above the large ship. There should be a Phantom floating above it. Shoot at it a couple times to hear and see it break apart. Turn into Forge mode and fly up towards where the broken pieces would have fallen. You will have a ten second time limit. Fly to a Plasma Turret, turn human, pick it up, and leave.

Unlockable Lone Wolf mission:
Complete the game on the Normal difficulty or higher to play the Lone Wolf bonus mission after the credits.

Data Pad locations:
Find the following 19 Data Pads by searching the corresponding locations:

Winter Contingency (any difficulty)
After driving across the first bridge, stay right to eventually approach a group of buildings with Covenant in them. The Data Pad is next to a dead body in the first building on the right. Note: You can reach the Data Pad quicker by loading the "Rally Point Alpha" checkpoint.

Winter Contingency (Legendary difficulty)
As soon as you begin the level, a cloaked Covenant Elite will run, from left to right, across your field of fire. Sprint quickly downhill and shoot at the Covenant Elite before it flees the field. Once you kill it, the Data Pad will be lying by its body. Note: Simply restart the mission if you fail to kill the Covenant Elite.

Oni: Sword Base (any difficulty)
The Data Pad is inside the Sword Base, toward the end of the level. When you get to the large area where there are crosswalks connecting to each of the floors, go to the third floor and look underneath a set of stairs inside a meeting room to find the Data Pad. Note: You can reach the Data Pad faster by loading the "Rally Point Bravo" checkpoint.

Oni: Sword Base (Legendary difficulty)
Load the "Rally Point Bravo" checkpoint, then turn around and go all the way back to the buildings from earlier (where you would have had a large enemy battle at). This makes it much easier to get the Data Pad and you do not even have to fight a single enemy on Legendary this way. Go to the large center section of the "Oni Sword Base" level. Once you get to the area with the buildings by the beach, go to the rooftop of the building that is nearest to the very large rocky mountain. On the side of the building is a broken wooden bridge that leads to the rocks. Use sprint to jump over the gap and get to the other side. Once you get to the other side, you will find the Data Pad at the end of the rock mountain near the edge on the ground.

Nightfall (any difficulty)
As soon as the level begins, go in the cave to your right. The Data Pad will be alongside the left wall behind a rock, lying on the ground in some grass.

Nightfall (Legendary difficulty)
Run through while avoiding most of the enemies you come across until you get to the riverbed, which is after the upcoming area of building with the marines. Skip all the enemies in this area by traveling along the left side of the mountain and into the water. Then, go straight to the riverbed until you come across a lot of green beacon/lights. At the fifth beacon, get on top of the rock ledge above you, and follow the cliffside path (hop across the river to the other side). You will cross back over a low stone overpass; continue following the cliffside trail back upriver after the overpass to find the Data Pad. Note: You can reach the Data Pad quicker by loading the "Rally Point Alpha" checkpoint.

Tip Of The Spear (any difficulty)
After killing the Zealot at the end of the mining facility, drop in the ruined facility and proceed to the room adjacent to the one you dropped into (before heading back outside). After dropping down to the first floor in this area, the Data Pad will be inside the next room to your left as you enter on top of a shelf behind some boxes on the shelving unit.

Tip Of The Spear (Legendary difficulty)
Look on the broken bridge that is right after you exit the valley but before you have to take out the Covenant anti-air gun, around where you encounter the second anti-air turret. Jump down to the ground from above, then jump onto the part of the broken bridge pillar. Once you have jumped onto the large broken part of the bridge with the broken Warthog, use a Ghost or Revenant as an extra platform to jump up to it. The Data Pad is lying on the ground next to the fallen marine. Note: You can reach the Data Pad faster by loading the "Rally Point Alpha" checkpoint.

Long Night Of Solace (any difficulty)
The Data Pad can be found inside the control room (with a hologram in the center of the red glowing section of the room) before you enter the Saber to go into orbit. It is lying on the ground next to a fallen marine and below another computer console on the left side of the room.

Long Night Of Solace (Legendary difficulty)
The Data Pad is on the structure above the walkway to the Saber, inside the launch room and just after the control room. Make sure you do not go up the last set of stairs and into the Saber or you will have to start the mission over. After going up the first flight of stairs, look to your left and jump onto that structure's ledge, then jump onto the back of the light stand. Once you are on top of the light stand (you can do a Grenade Jump), jump onto the structure behind you and go up the ramp to find the Data Pad lying on the ground next to another light stand. Get there by following the ledge to the end of the path.

Exodus (any difficulty)
Right after acquiring the jetpack, use it to get to the point where the green arrows point forward/up immediately after you leap over a gap while fighting alongside the ODST Bull Frog. The Data Pad is right after you fight off all the Brutes and Grunts in this area. Before going forward, in the last part where the Brutes were, there is a walkway above in the rafters. It will be lying on the walkway, next to the dead body of a civilian slumped against the wall and in front of the door. Note: You can reach the Data Pad faster by loading the "Rally Point Alpha" checkpoint.

Exodus (Legendary difficulty)
Load the "Rally Point Alpha" checkpoint  and get to the area just before the "Rally Point Bravo" checkpoint, after the large gap. Kill all the enemies in the area, then go to the area just before the painted "New Alexandria" sign on the building. Cross the bridge connecting the two very large buildings. At the right side of the building, near the top, are two black vents underneath the overhang. The Data Pad is on top of the second vent, to the right. The jetpack is required to get up there. However, it will take several reloads of your jetpack to get there by using some beams to scale the long vertical shaft. Note: Be careful as you may end up falling if your timing is not right. It may take several attempts to reach this area.

New Alexandria (any difficulty)
In the beginning of the level, keep flying straight ahead and toward the red glow in the horizon. Look for the shark-finned skyscraper with lateral black bands (windows) on its spine (it is the furthest building slightly to the right when you begin the mission). The Data Pad is on the right side of this building's rooftop. Land on the back of the rooftop to get it.

New Alexandria (Legendary difficulty)
The Data Pad is located at the lowest point at which you can fly on the outside ledge of the building located directly behind where you start. When the mission starts, fly the Falcon to the building directly opposite the landing pad and descend into the fog. Fly to any point on the ledge and get as close to the building as possible. The Data Pad can be seen on a ledge on the middle part of the building (altitude -120). You will need to jump from the Falcon and onto the ledge to get the Data Pad. Hold X to get out of the Falcon and drop onto the ledge. The Data Pad will be at the far left side of the ledge.

The Package (any difficulty)
The Data Pad is found just before the elevator cutscene that takes you to the excavation site. Stand by the green panel in the room with the lift, then turn around 180 degrees and look down to see it. Note: You can reach the Data Pad faster by loading the "Rally Point Alpha" checkpoint.

The Package (Legendary difficulty)
The Data Pad is in the area where you defend Dr. Halsey’s laboratory. Once you get the jetpack from the area you have to defend, head to the first defense system that you have to activate and fly up to the rocks behind it. Then, continue forward in that direction to eventually reach the rooftop of a building after the rocks. Use the jetpack from here until you get to the left side of the building where the Data Pad is. Note: Use controlled bursts of your jetpack to make it there and back. Additionally, you can reach the Data Pad faster by loading the "Rally Point Bravo" checkpoint.

The Pillar Of Autumn (any difficulty)
Immediately after the shipyard, in the first hallway you enter when you go into the building (immediately after the "Rally Point Alpha" checkpoint), you will be near a glass window in a long hallway. The Data Pad is past the window. Head down the hallway and around the corner, then shoot the second window on the right side to shatter the glass. Climb through the broken window (you will need to duck to get through) to find the Data Pad in the left corner on top of a table.

The Pillar Of Autumn (Legendary difficulty)
The Data Pad is on the rooftop at the end of the shipyard, right before (and above) the entrance to the building (after the two battles before you enter the shell of the craft). Use the stairs to get onto the roof, then jump to the ledge with the Data Pad. It is located on the very right side of the roof of that building, in the corner. This is the building behind the turrets (above the garage) controlled by the enemy. Note: You can reach the Data Pad faster by loading the "Rally Point Alpha" checkpoint.

Lone Wolf (Legendary difficulty)
The final Data Pad is located directly ahead from where you start, inside a large pipe that is suspended in the air with red columns around it, behind a ramp. Sprint to get there as fast as possible, then use it again to clear the jump on the platform next to the pipe. The pipe is found on the platform with the sniper rifle. Jump again onto the next structure, to the left of the pipe, and then finally jump into the pipe by using the red columns around the pipe to reach the entrance and find the Data Pad.

Invisible elite hint:

While playing Winter Contingency on legendary difficulty, as soon as you get off the Falcon, sprint forward and switch to your pistol for better aiming. You'll notice an invisible elite running away. Try killing him before he gets too far, otherwise he'll just disappear. If you kill him, he'll drop one of the many Data pads you need to collect throughout the game.

Crystal armor glitch:
Get the Armor Lock Glitch working, then get active camo to have Crystal Armor.

Skull effects:
Skulls are not collected in Halo: Reach as in previous games. Instead, you turn them on before starting a campaign session for the following effects:

Primary Skulls
Iron Skull - Co-Op reverts to previous checkpoint on player death. Single player death restarts entire mission. (Restart at checkpoints with all of your weapons and ammo in co-op, but you'll restart the mission on single player)
Black Eye Skull - Shields don’t recharge except from melee attacking enemies. (Your shield won't recharge unless you perform a melee)
Tough Luck Skull - Enemies always make every saving throw, always berserk, always dive, never flee. (Every enemy will dodge slower attacks, like needles and grenades. Grunts will suicide attack and Brutes will charge)
Catch Skull - Enemies are grenade happy -- 2x as often and 2x as fast. (Lots of grenades)
Cloud Skull - Motion sensor disabled with this setting. (No "radar")
Famine Skull - Weapons drop 50% less ammo. (Less ammo from picked up weapons)
Thunderstorm Skull - Major upgrade to all enemies. (All enemies have more life)
Tilt Skull - Damage tables are modified. (Enemy weaknesses and strengths are increased -- Elite shields are susceptible to nothing but Plasma Pistols)
Mythic Skull - Double enemy health. (More health for all enemies)

Secondary Skulls
Blind Skull - HUD and first person arms and weapon are hidden. (Clears the screen but won't affect gameplay)
Cowbell Skull - Acceleration scale from explosions is 3x. (Things fly further)
Grunt Birthday Skull - Grunts explode as if they were plasma grenades when they are killed with a headshot. (More explosions = more fun)
IWHBYD Skull - Common combat dialog becomes less common, and vice versa. (Hear rare dialog from computer-controlled players)

Locusts and funny dialog on New Alexandra:
On the mission "New Alexandra", there's a building where, after deactivating the jammer, a swarm of Locusts flying things come after you. Onthe right hand side of the building, somewhere on the 2nd or 3rd floor, is a marine that freaks out and says a bunch of funny things. He says different things each difficulty.

Legendary Difficulty hint:
While playing on legendary, the best weapons are the plasma pistol and any other single shot weapons like the DMR, Magnum Pistol or Needle Rifle. This combo is very effective on elites as you can charge up your plasma pistol, shoot the elite to take away his energy shield, then switch to your DMR and down him with one or two head shots.
